How to Find Cheap Rosarito Directions
Located in Baja California Mexico, Rosarito is the second largest of the Mexican resort towns. As a part of the Pacific Coast, it lies on the Pacific Ocean’s eastern side, and is only a short 20 minute drive from Los Cabos, Baja California’s capital city. The ideal way to get to Rosarito is to take a ferry from Puerto Vallarta to Puerto Madero; or, if you have your own boat, a good long-tail boat from Los Cabos, with trips along the western coast of Baja California up the east side of the peninsula to Rosarito and its neighboring towns, including Ensenada and Vera Cruz. Once you reach the beach, you will find that you can reach it easily by foot, if you are able to navigate the narrow, winding paths through palm groves and dense tropical forests. If you prefer to drive, you will find plenty of toll roads and rutted streets, but you must be careful not to get lost!
One of the things you must see while you are in Rosarito on your vacation is the Sea World. This is the only fully-enclosed marine park in Baja California Mexico, offering visitors the chance to swim with sharks, interact with stingrays, and watch various shows such as aquatic mammals, dolphins, penguins, and seals. Of course, the most famous attraction here is the whale-watching experience: there are several whale watching expeditions from June to November every year, which are popular not only among tourists but also because the sight of whales is usually associated with the ancient Aztec legend of the seven heads of gold. Another great thing to do here is to visit the three sandy beaches: La Playa de San Miguel, Playa Grande, and Playa Rezanilla, all of which offer clear water and great views of the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of California. You can also take a walk from your hotel to one of these beaches and enjoy some panoramic views and tranquil, white-sand beaches during your trip.
In your journey to find your own Rosarito directions, you will need to know where to stay. There are two types of accommodations: hotels and vacation rentals. If you are planning a trip on a budget, then it might be a good idea to rent a hotel room. There are plenty of hotels in Rosarito to choose from, with rates ranging from inexpensive to expensive ones. Some of the most popular hotels are Hotel Colon, Miramar Residences, and SoliMar Hotel; all of them offer excellent amenities, including Wi-Fi, dry cleaning, and air conditioning (in case you opt for the latter, be sure to check what kind of air conditioning equipment they have in their rooms). One of the greatest attractions in Rosarito is its three miles of White Sand Beach, considered by many to be the finest white sand beaches in the world. Located on the western part of town, White Sand Beach is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, surfing, and other water activities. It’s also very popular among tourists because of its close proximity to the famous Four-Mile Island Lighthouse. To get to White Sand Beach, you can rent a car from any of the numerous car rental agencies in San Miguel de Allende; they’re usually located near the airport, but you can also find some cars available 24 hours a day at various rental properties in Rosarito. If you have the option, it would probably be a better idea to hire a car so that you won’t have to carry your suitcase around all day; the rental properties usually have a lot of parking available for guests who travel on a smaller scale.
Another popular beach destination in Rosarito is Tijuana, Mexico, hundreds of miles to the north. Tijuana boasts one of the largest human smuggling operations in the country, housing over two million people (many of them illegally) who travel every day to the United States via Mexico to work or study. While there aren’t any houses for sale in Tijuana proper, the closest you can get is a condominium on a small beach front in Rosarito. Because living in a condo is such a good deal in comparison to paying for a hotel or staying in a resort, most people rent condos to enjoy Mexico’s beautiful beaches, surf wherever they please.
