One of our favorite places to visit while in Rosarito is Papaver y Maseo. If you have never had this fabulous enchilada, it is made with black beans, cheese and onion and then fried. The enchilada is served with fresh tortillas that is topped with shredded cheese. Papaver y Maseo is one of our favorite restaurants in the area for a reason. In addition to serving some of the best enchiladas in town, they also serve some of the best seafood you will find anywhere. Their other seafood delicacies are outstanding as well.
La Gran Plaza is another restaurant frequented by locals and tourists alike. This restaurant is located right off of Main Street and is frequented by both locals and tourists alike. The atmosphere in this restaurant is very relaxing as the owner, Antonio, makes sure each meal is a feast for the senses. We would highly recommend this restaurant not only because the food is excellent but the atmosphere is even better. You really feel laid back when dining at La Gran Plaza.
One of our favorite Rosarito restaurants is La Conchita. This is a small family owned establishment that serves authentic Mexican food from the different regions of Mexico. The most popular dishes here include Tacos, Chorizo, Carne Asada and De Pollo. This place is definitely not your typical American fast food. It actually contains real Mexican flavors and touches of Spanish culture from old Spain. It is definitely worth a stop at if you happen to be in the area.
